Originally from Connecticut, Jeff came to Vermont over 20 years ago and has enjoyed most everything the Green Mountain State has to offer. As a musician, Jeff plays in clubs and festivals throughout Vermont, and as an avid skier, successfully led the life of a ski bum for a few years between college and law school. Now he gets out when he can. Professionally, Jeff has extensive experience in business transactions and commercial development, litigation, and criminal law. Jeff joined the Maple Leaf Board in 2013. He is the President of the Board of Directors for the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival, as well as a Vice President for the Chittenden County Bar Association Board. He lives in South Burlington.
Jessica is the co-owner, and managing Broker, of Element Real Estate, an entity dedicated to the practice of client-centric residential and commercial real estate, in downtown Burlington. Originally a transplant from New Jersey, Jessica has been a Vermont resident for 17 years. She’s owned multiple local businesses, ranging in fields from hospitality to real estate. Jessica served as the President of the Winooski Community Partnership, Winooski’s Downtown Association, for three years and has served on the organizing committee for the Cattle Baron’s Ball, a fundraiser in support of the American Cancer Society’s Lois McClure-Bee Tabakin Hope Lodge, for five years and counting. Jessica currently serves on the board of the Lake Champlain Community Sailing Center. Beyond all else, Jessica places emphasis on the Golden Rule as a way of life, in all matters business, civic and personal.
Keith Turman is a retired Certified Internal Auditor who served as the internal auditor for Vermont Federal Bank, Fletcher Allen Health Care and New England Federal Credit Union during a twenty six year career as a practicing internal auditor. Keith joined the Maple Leaf Treatment Center Board of Directors in August of 2015 and assumed the treasurers position during 2016. As a member of MLTC finance committee and as treasurer Keith is involved with the financial affairs of the institution. Keith serves in leadership roles at other Vermont nonprofit organizations and resides with his wife Jan and therapy dog Tess in South Hero Vermont.
Michael Couture is a digital media specialist with Subatomic Digital, Inc., preparing films and TV shows and their metadata for online platforms such as iTunes, Amazon, GooglePlay, Xbox, Vudu, Hulu, and others. Michael has more than 30 years experience in music and video production and was one of the founding partners of Resolution, Inc., a media production, duplication and fulfillment company serving cable networks such as A&E, Discovery and Turner; National Geographic; Annenberg Media; private industry; and PBS. Michael volunteers at FAHC and Turning Point of Chittenden County, is a former board member and past president of the Humane Society of Chittenden County, and a former board member of the Vermont Institute for Science, Math and Technology.
Dr. Iacuzzi has 15 years of experience in the addiction and mental health profession. She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and Clinical Psychology and a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology. She has extensive experience utilizing evidence-based practices, providing clinical supervision, and training clinicians. Dr. Iacuzzi has worked in a range of settings including outpatient and residential treatment, psychiatric hospitals, community mental health centers and detention centers. She has presented at state and national conferences on topics ranging from supervision to systems change, from trauma-informed services to multicultural counseling. Dr. Iacuzzi is the Northeast Regional Representative to the NAADAC, the National Association of Addiction Professionals, and is the most recent President of the NH Drug & Alcohol Abuse Counselors Association.
