Dear Friends:

For nearly 60 years Maple Leaf has been helping men and women from all over the country find and maintain recovery from alcohol and drug addiction, with over 30,000 people going through our program since we began as a small volunteer organization in an old farmhouse and barn. It seems that everyone in Vermont has a family member or friend who has been helped by Maple Leaf.

Much has changed since then, but not our mission. We provide high-quality programming, founded on several guiding principles and continue to keep pace with best practices and industry standards:

Our work has become much more complicated, with clients presenting with usage of one or many of a wide variety of substances of abuse. Many struggle with co-occurring mental health diagnoses and suffer from extensive trauma. They require a response that is caring, committed and informed by the latest research and development of best practices in addictions medicine and treatment.

We work hard to deliver a high quality, 7-day-a-week program staffed by a great clinical team and caring administrative and housekeeping staff. The facility has never looked better. We are committed to never ceasing our efforts to find ways to improve and are constantly rewarded by the steady stream of success stories from the men and women who have left us and gone on to lead satisfying and productive lives.

We are a non-profit organization, and we regularly provide assistance to people desperate for help, who have no resources. Maintaining that effort is vital, but expensive.

If you are able, please consider a donation, small or large to help us meet the needs of those who come to us for help. People donate what they can, from $25, $200, $1,000 or much more. Others make gifts in the form of stocks or leave a donation or property in their will. All are welcome and all make a difference.
